Full Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interpret drawings, prints and/or sketches to determine necessary information needed to convert to digital format.
Convert drawings to electronic and digital format using CAD and or business engineering systems.
Follow recommended standard procedures, revision identification and naming nomenclature for drawings.
Responsible for filing original documents as required.
May assist in other support activities in the Engineering Department of other functions.
Any/all other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude (depending on discipline).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency with tools, measurement equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Pursuing degree in relevant discipline (mechanical engineering, applications etc.)
Proficient in AutoCAD LT

Desired

A or B.S in Mechanical Engineering

Primarily sedentary work involving prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, mouse use, and handling documents.
Visual acuity required to read computer screens, printed materials, and digital devices.
Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within the office environment.
Occasional lifting or carrying of light items such as files, office supplies, or a laptop (typically up to 10–20 pounds).
Regular communication through speaking and hearing in person, by phone, and during virtual meetings.
