Full Job Description

We are looking for a detailed-oriented medical front desk clerk capable of multi-tasking while providing a pleasant, cheerful attitude towards our patients. Experience in a medical office is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk
- Register patients and verify their personal and insurance information
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Collect co-pays and process payments

- File vision insurance claims for exams/contact lens fits
- Maintain patient records and update information in our electronic medical record systems
- Ensure a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office preferred
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology preferred
- Previous experience on office software and electronic medical record systems preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
