Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our team and drive the accurate and competitive pricing of construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in construction estimating, project management, and contract negotiations to deliver precise cost evaluations that support successful project execution. Your proactive approach and deep understanding of construction processes will ensure projects are financially viable, on schedule, and aligned with client expectations. Responsibilities

Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, including commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to gather project specifications, drawings, and scope details.
Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare comprehensive bid proposals and cost analyses.
Conduct thorough site visits to assess conditions, gather on-site data, and incorporate real-world factors into estimates.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgets through effective cost control strategies.
Review contracts, change orders, and scope modifications to accurately reflect updated costs and maintain profitability.
Support project management teams by providing detailed estimates that inform scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement planning.

Skills

Extensive experience in construction estimating with proficiency in HeavyBid software.
Strong knowledge of Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup collaboration.
Proven negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
Deep understanding of construction processes, site management, and contract administration.
Expertise in cost control techniques to manage budgets effectively across multiple projects.
Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Excellent project management skills with the capacity to coordinate multiple stakeholders efficiently.
