Full Job Description

My client, a large healthcare organization in Alabama is seeking a Permanent Onsite Physician Business Office Manager to join their team. A Bachelor's degree is required along with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in medical collections, physician/hospital operations, A/R follow-up, and denials and appeals. Minimum 3 years management or supervisory experience required. Professional billing experience preferred. The position will report up to the Director, Professional Billing Services and will have approximately15 direct reports. This facility is located in a beautiful, historic area of Alabama providing a well-balanced mix of small-town comforts and large-city amenities. The city offers a low cost of living and excellent schools in addition to all kinds of outdoor activities. Enjoy a wide array of attractions, from museums dedicated to music legends or American art to a vibrant nightlife on the banks of the Alabama River.
