Position Overview

ModRN Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in a full-time hybrid role serving the Joplin, Missouri area.

This nurse will provide onsite care through scheduled pop-up clinics across several employer locations in and around Joplin, with virtual care provided on non-onsite days. The current onsite schedule averages approximately 1–2 travel days per week, or about 6 onsite clinic days per month, with one additional quarterly clinic day.

This role is ideal for a nurse who is confident working independently, enjoys building relationships, and wants to deliver care in a more personal, proactive, and flexible way.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite nursing care at scheduled employer pop-up clinics across the Joplin area.
Perform comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based nursing interventions.
Conduct lab testing, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and basic diagnostic procedures.
Manage vitals, medication administration, vaccinations, wound care, and other routine clinical services.
Triage acute and chronic concerns and coordinate with ModRN Health physicians for follow-up or referrals.
Provide personalized health education, medication reconciliation, and post-visit support.
Serve as a trusted health advocate, helping members get to the right care at the right time.
Support members virtually on days when onsite clinics are not scheduled.
Maintain clinic supplies, documentation, and workflows to support efficient, high-quality care.
Collaborate with ModRN Health team members to ensure continuity between onsite and virtual care.
Uphold all professional, documentation, confidentiality, and HIPAA standards.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted RN license; Compact RN license preferred.
ADN accepted; BSN preferred.
5+ years of recent hospital, primary care, occupational health, urgent care, ED, Med-Surg, or Cardiac experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, lab, and triage skills.
Ability to work independently and confidently in a mobile/pop-up clinic environment.
Excellent communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills.
Comfort using virtual care platforms and delivering care in a hybrid model.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to scheduled employer locations in the Joplin-area market.
