Customer Service Supervisor – Front Desk & Retail Store

Location: Black Meadow Landing – Parker Dam, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time

Join Our Team!
Black Meadow Landing is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Customer Service Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our Front Desk and Resort Store. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences, thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and has experience supervising a small team.

As the Customer Service Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of both the Front Desk and Retail Store, ensuring outstanding guest service, efficient operations, and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and residents.

Essential Responsibilities
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk and Resort Store.

Lead, coach, and support a small team of customer service associates.

Provide exceptional guest service by resolving questions, concerns, and guest requests professionally and promptly.

Assist with scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance coaching for team members.

Ensure front desk operations, reservations, check-ins, and check-outs are completed accurately and efficiently.

Oversee retail store operations, including merchandising, inventory control, stocking, and cash handling.

Maintain accurate cash balances and follow company cash handling procedures.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and supplies.

Ensure the store and front desk areas remain clean, organized, and inviting.

Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when appropriate.

Promote resort amenities, events, and activities to enhance the guest experience.

Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to resort management.

Support resort events and other operational needs as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.

Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, resort, retail, or customer service management preferred.

Retail sales and inventory management experience strongly preferred.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities.

Experience handling cash, point-of-sale systems, and basic computer applications.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude with a hands-on leadership style.

Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs require.

Preferred Experience
Front desk or hotel/resort operations

Retail store management

Reservation systems

Inventory management

Team leadership and employee development

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Ability to bend, reach, and occasionally climb a step ladder.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
