Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Revisador to join our financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying financial documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting processes. Your expertise will support accurate financial analysis, internal audits, and adherence to industry best practices, contributing to the overall financial health and transparency of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical accounting skills and risk management knowledge in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence.

Duties

Conduct thorough reviews of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory reporting standards.
Perform detailed internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance and COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks.
Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
Assist in the preparation of complex financial statements, management reports, and documentation aligned with corporate accounting standards.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to general ledger accounting, governmental accounting, and technical accounting issues.
Contribute to risk management initiatives by evaluating financial processes and recommending enhancements to mitigate potential issues.
Utilize advanced accounting software and financial analysis tools to streamline review procedures and improve accuracy.

Requirements

Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or governmental accounting environments with a strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards).
Demonstrated knowledge of SOX compliance, COSO frameworks, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial concepts and data.
Experience with financial report writing, internal audits, risk management practices, and technical accounting issues.
Familiarity with accounting software platforms and financial software used for general ledger accounting and financial analysis.
Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for clear documentation and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulations and maintain high standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.
