The Liquid Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within Solina USA’s liquid and sauce manufacturing operations. This role directs maintenance teams in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment, facility utilities, and process systems.
This position ensures maximum equipment reliability, supports continuous improvement, and plays a key role in maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing processes. A strong working knowledge of Winpak pouch machines —including operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization—is highly preferred .
The Maintenance Department Manager partners closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Sanitation, and Safety teams to support daily operations and long-term process readiness.

Oversees maintenance of Winpak W-18 and W-25 pouch machines, including performance optimization, troubleshooting, parts management, and technician training.
Oversees maintenance and troubleshooting of key processing and packaging equipment including steam-jacketed cooking vessels, high shear mixers, positive displacement and centrifugal pumps, plate-and-frame and double-tube heat exchangers, load cells, modular belt conveyors, checkweighers, case erectors, case tapers, thermal transfer printers, ink jet printers, and case labelers.
Manages maintenance operating budget, including spare parts inventory, vendor contracts, and equipment service agreements.
Ensures all maintenance work complies with FDA, OSHA, and internal Solina safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Implements and maintains maintenance systems, including work order management, PM documentation, equipment history, and technical libraries.
Develops and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to equipment uptime, maintenance response time, PM completion rate, contractor performance, and reliability improvements.
Manages contractors and outside service providers, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance expectations.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience providing the required knowledge and skills will be considered. Typical qualifications include:
Experience with utilities such as boilers, refrigeration systems, compressed air, HVAC, and CIP systems.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Provides leadership and guidance to maintenance supervisors, mechanics, technicians, and contracted service providers. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, mentoring, performance evaluation, and discipline in accordance with company policies.
Minimal travel required ; occasional vendor visits or support at other Solina facilities.
