ABOUT US
We are a Los Angeles-based design studio. We work with major artists on the creative and technical direction of their live shows, from arena tours to festival headliner performances. The studio has fifteen full-time people, based out of one office in Eagle Rock. We run lean and close-knit by design. The work is confidential, fast-moving, and operates on the timelines of touring and live production rather than a standard 9-to-5.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for an Executive & Personal Assistant to support the two Directors who run the company. Your job is to make sure the Directors are organized and informed, that the rest of the team has the information they need to do their work, and that the practical stuff of life and business runs smoothly around the principals.
A lot of critical context lives with the Directors. Decisions made on calls, approvals that need to happen, information that needs to reach the right people. The EA is the connective tissue that keeps all of that moving.
This is a blended executive and personal assistant role. Alongside calendar, inbox, and project coordination, you’ll handle personal logistics for the Directors. Booking appointments, errands, travel for partners, ordering things, sorting out the practical stuff of life so the Directors can focus on the work. We treat this as a core part of the role, not an afterthought.
The ideal candidate wants this job and wants to do it well for a long time. This is not a role for someone using this as a route into producing, management, or other adjacent industry paths. If you love EA work as a craft, you’ll find a lot of room here to operate at a high level and be genuinely valued for it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a communication bridge: chasing approvals and making sure the latest information reaches the right people across the team and on all active projects.
- Work alongside project leads and producers to manage scheduling, project planning, and internal calendars.
- Take notes, track action items, and make sure follow-through happens.
- Manage correspondence and keep the Directors' inboxes functional. We use Spark, Slack, Google Workspace, and DocuSign.
- Interface with clients, external collaborators, and team members in a way that's professional and reflects the company's values.
- Support travel planning and logistics when the Directors are on the road, and travel yourself when needed.
- Handle personal logistics for the Directors as outlined above.
- Anticipate needs and take initiative without being asked.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Significant prior experience in an EA, PA, or similar role. This is not an entry-level position.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a natural ability to manage multiple moving pieces without losing track of any of them.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You'll be representing the Directors in correspondence regularly.
- Self-motivated and self-directed. You identify what needs to happen and you do it.
- Confident and direct. Comfortable being honest with executives, flagging problems early, and having candid conversations when the situation calls for it.
- A collaborative, positive presence who genuinely enjoys being part of a close team.
- Comfortable with confidentiality. The role involves regular exposure to pre-release artist material, tour plans, and other sensitive information.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast changes, and with the reality that live production does not run on a 9-to-5 schedule.
DETAILS
Salary: $75,000–$95,000 depending on experience
- Full-time, primarily in-office role based in Los Angeles (10am–6pm PT, with regular expansion beyond those hours)
- Remote flexibility is available but should not be the majority of your time — we are a close, in-person team and the role works best that way
- Travel will be required on an occasional basis
- Full health and dental insurance (100% of PPO Silver plan premiums covered for the employee)
- Project implementation bonuses for working days spent in an onsite capacity (rehearsals, show days, etc.)
- 401(k) plan available after 12 months (employee contributions only, no employer match).
TO APPLY
Please include a cover letter alongside your resume. More than a summary of your experience, we want to hear about you. What draws you to this kind of work? What makes you unique? What should we know about you that a resume can't convey? No rules for this, you can talk about what's important to you, what you enjoy, or anything really. We value this more than any other part of the application, and we will read every one. The working chemistry of our studio is a foundational part of our formula and we would love to get a better sense of who you are and how you represent yourself.
Please include references if you feel they help support your application, but they are not required.
Please write your cover letter yourself — we're looking for your voice, not a polished or GPT-generated one.
