Full Job Description

Macon law firm is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with attorneys on matters
Identify all non-parties; obtain and review records
Prepare medical chronologies
Draft correspondence, motions, discovery, and pleadings
Compile, organize, redact, and label documents for production
Docket and manage deadlines
Communicate with clients
Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness

Requirements:

Proven experience as a litigation paralegal
Paralegal associate or bachelor’s degree, or paralegal certificate
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Prioritize tasks and work efficiently without direct supervision
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Exceptional verbal communication and writing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills in person and over the telephone
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of medical terms
Knowledge of insurance coverage types and policies

This position is an in-office position.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
