Full Job Description

We’re a busy, full-service, from-scratch restaurant and locally-owned brewery in the heart of downtown Sun Prairie - just 20 minutes from downtown Madison. We feature wood-fired pizza and elevated sandwiches, appetizers and sauteé items as well. We are looking for one more rockstar to join our crew. Wood-fired pizza experience not necessary, but weekend availability is.

Come to work in a new, clean, well-run kitchen with a great crew and if you work 30 or more hours a week you're eligible for health, dental and vision insurance. Shift drink and shift meal included on full shift worked. Paid Time Off Days after one year of employment. Closed all major holidays. Competitive wage starting at $18 per hour.

Full-Time Evening Line Cook

Responsibilities

Food prep, stocking and organization as necessary to set up station at beginning of shift.
Work efficiently and communicate with entire kitchen crew during service as well as during high-volume pushes
Cooking food to specifications as instructed by Head Chef, correct look, presentation, taste, temperature, etc.
Cleaning throughout shift as well as at end of shift and closing kitchen clean-up duties. Continuing to adhere to high standards of a clean, sanitary kitchen. Follow all cleaning and sanitation protocols.
Other duties as necessary or as assigned by Head Chef or shift lead to keep kitchen running efficiently

Position Requirements

At least 1 year of overall experience cooking in a commercial kitchen
Must have weekend availability
Ability to understand, prep and execute menu items
Ability to perform duties under periods of high-volume, fast-paced environment service
Show up on time and ready to work at assigned times per kitchen schedule

Capacidad para realizar tareas en periodos de servicio de alto volumen y ritmo rápido.
Llegar puntualmente y listo para trabajar en los horarios asignados según el horario de la cocina.
