About Joule Manufacturing

We are a custom manufacturer of precision sheet metal components for OEMs and contract manufacturers in the electronic, semi-conductor, life science and security industries. We are a small team that counts on everyone having high standards to take our company to the next level.

About You

You are organized, process oriented and understand what it takes to ship orders on time in a fast paced manufacturing environment where priorities can change throughout the day. You are comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers and co-workers and aren’t afraid to follow up until issues are resolved. Most importantly, you take pride in delivering exceptional customer service by being responsive, keeping commitments, and ensuring every order receives the attention it deserves.

Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of customer parts, requirements and order patterns
Maintain customer information in the ERP system
Manage daily communication with customers and provide proactive updates
Accurately enter new orders and maintain order notes in the ERP system
Create manufacturing work orders, schedule outside services, and create job packets
Monitor orders from release through shipment. Distribute open order reports and expedite lists.
Coordinate daily with Manufacturing, Quality, Estimating, Shipping, and Suppliers to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain on time delivery
Manage all outside processing activities including supplier scheduling, purchase orders, logistics, status tracking and issue resolution
Review and process customer requests for schedule changes, engineering changes, and RMAs while balancing customer needs and business goals.
Build strong relationships with customers by demonstrating responsiveness, accountability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience
Support Customer Program Manager and Inside Sales with reports, customer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Proven experience in production planning or production control within a manufacturing or job shop environment
Strong proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
Customer facing experience
High school diploma or GED required; associates or bachelor’s degree is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication
Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or willingness to learn
Experience with aerospace quality systems AS9100 and ITAR preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Local candidates only

We are an ITAR registered facility. Employees must be US persons.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
