Full Job Description:

Animal Doctor is seeking a compassionate, team oriented associate veterinarian to join our privately owned practice in beautiful eastern Kansas, just minutes from Milford lake and Manhattan.

We are excited to welcome an associate who values high-quality medicine, meaningful client relationships, and a freedom to pursue the best medical treatments. We welcome both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. New graduates will receive strong clinic guidance, case support, surgery mentorship, and collaborative case discussions.

About Animal Doctor:

We are a 100% small animal practice with both a strong medical and surgical focus. We offer thorough wellness and preventative care as well as sick patient work ups. We often see second opinion appointments for chronic allergies, otitis, lameness, and surgical consults. We offer multiple same day appointments. Our doctors enjoy manageable caseloads (12-15 patients per day) and appointment times that support thorough medicine.

· Wellness visits: 30 minutes

· Sick visits: 30-45 minutes

· 4-day work week with alternating Saturdays

· 7:30am – 6:00pm

· Closed Sundays

· 1:2 doctor-to-technician/assistant ratio

Milford lake, the largest lake in Kansas, is located 10 minutes from our clinic. Also, it’s only a two hour drive to larger cities such as Kansas City and Wichita.
