The Maintenance Technician will assist with the daily operations of the maintenance department. They are responsible for the maintenance of the hotel's building and grounds and the operation of its equipment and mechanical and electrical systems. This person is a team player with a solution- oriented attitude!
The following responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include, but not limited to:
- Assist with hotel infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety
- Organizing repair, installation and renovation projects
- Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
- Complete routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens, pools)
- Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with hotel experience preferred
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus
- Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
- Problem-solving aptitude
