Billing Clerk
About us

Jim Brisco Enterprises, Inc. is a family-owned construction materials and trucking company. We specialize in quality building materials including ready-mix concrete, fill sand, recycled AB, decorative landscape rocks, and more.

Position Summary: The billing clerk is responsible for billing, general office operations, and being the consistent presence in the office.

Requirements:

Education

Required: high school diploma

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

Licensing, Registration and Certifications

Required: none

Experience

Required: 2+ years office and billing experience

Preferred: 2+ years office and billing experience in trucking company

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities

Computer proficient in word, excel, and Quickbooks

Customer service experience

Organizational skills

General office procedures and etiquette

Physical

Sitting, lifting, bending, reaching, typing, filing, answering phones

Mental

Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to remain poised under all circumstances, and to interact effectively with people in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in high stress, conflict, and emergency situations
Ability to simultaneously address multiple complex problems

Duties and Tasks

Greet and direct all customers, employees, and vendors at the front desk from 8 am – 5 pm daily ·
Answer telephone calls and emails from customer and clients ·
Billing of trucking and material sales ·
Tracking - compliance and material spreadsheets ·
Filing
Other Duties as Tasked

Pay dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time
