Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Sales Representative, where your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive exceptional client experiences! In this energetic role, you will serve as the frontline ambassador for the D.A.R.E. America program, one of the largest children's charities in the world, providing outstanding customer support and sales assistance across diverse events. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales and customer service expertise, and career, in a fast-paced environment. Base salary plus sales commission offers unlimited upside earning potential.

Our new Entry-Level Sales Representatives earn between $800 to $1200 weekly during the first year, including the base and our uncapped commission opportunities. Individual starting base within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Base salary is dependent on if all training expectations are met and/or exceeded. As an independent contractor, this position has the flexibility to create a unique and personalized schedule, as long as it meets event opportunities.

You’ll be the exclusive face and voice of D.A.R.E America to your customers, working independently to deliver personalized sales interactions at scheduled events and local fundraisers provided to you. You’ll close the deal by explaining the new D.A.R.E. curriculum, displaying and providing merchandise, and promoting tax deductible incentives, keeping customers connected to what matters most to them.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers face to face.
Meet or exceed targets and goals on a regular basis.
Develop upselling techniques that enhance customer value and satisfaction.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to ensure positive interactions at all times.
Support clients with account management, including cash handling and processing transactions efficiently.
Collect donations from new and current customers.
Participate in meetings with other marketing departments to analyze customer feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements for non-profit image.
Collaborate with the event coordinating team to find new events as well as provide up to date data from current local fundraisers.
Attend scheduled events and local fundraisers as required.
Establish professional relationships with retail managers, project managers, purchasing and key personnel.
Participate in assigned local toy drives.
Perform other duties and tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Previous customer service or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer support in a fast-paced setting.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a strong plus, especially fluency in English and additional languages.
Experience in direct sales or customer service roles that required communication skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures, credit transactions, and apple pay.
Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive environment.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency
Effective presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, including drug screening, criminal history, and motor vehicle record
