WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

T his position plays a key role in supporting the mission of our Purchasing division by managing key vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance. We are a collaborative, service-oriented team that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring strong communication and organizational skills, and be eager to contribute to meaningful work that positively impacts the residents of Waukesha County.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1. Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, or a closely related field.
2. Two (2) years work experience in a large volume purchasing operation, preferably in the public sector.

3. Six (6) years of progressively responsible work experience in a large volume purchasing operation, preferably in the public sector.
4. Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification is desirable.
