Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Piping Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed piping layouts and designs that support various industrial, mechanical, and construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure that piping systems are efficient, safe, and meet all project specifications and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while honing your technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed piping layouts and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit to support project design requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and translate them into accurate piping drawings.
Utilize 3D modeling tools to visualize piping systems within larger plant or facility models.
Prepare construction-ready drawings, including piping isometrics, sections, and details for fabrication and installation.
Assist in reviewing and verifying piping designs against project standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Support the creation of mechanical designs and schematics that integrate with other building systems.
Contribute to project documentation by maintaining organized records of drawings, revisions, and design changes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in piping design or drafting within industrial, mechanical, or construction environments.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit
Familiarity with schematic development, mechanical design principles, and construction processes.
Knowledge of 3D techniques for visualizing piping systems.
Strong understanding of piping codes, standards, and best practices for safety and efficiency.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
