- Manage the packaging process efficiently to maintain product freshness and presentation standards.
- Conduct visual inspections for quality control, ensuring all items meet safety and quality specifications.
- Follow food safety management protocols to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination of perishable goods.
- Assist with food handling duties across the kitchen or retail environment, supporting overall food production activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with health regulations, including sanitizing tools and surfaces regularly.
Experience
- Proven experience in food production, preparation, or a related culinary role within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures, including sanitizing practices and safe handling of perishable goods.
- Demonstrated knife skills, meat cutting expertise, and familiarity with slicing techniques for various meats and foods.
- Experience with food packaging, visual quality inspection, and managing trimming or cutting methods.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients or team members effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior kitchen experience that highlights proficiency in food handling, safety management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
