Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management, with expertise in various HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively navigate employment and labor laws while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Duties

Oversee the recruitment process, including talent acquisition and interviewing of candidates to ensure the best fit for the organization.
Manage employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new hires.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with FMLA and other employment laws.
Provide guidance on conflict management and employee relations issues, ensuring a fair resolution process.
Supervise HR staff, providing leadership and support in their professional development.
Conduct performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback sessions.
Administer benefits programs and manage payroll processes using HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, or ADP.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management and organization design.
Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities.
Analyze data related to HR metrics for informed decision-making regarding workforce planning and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and manage workers' compensation claims as needed.
Drive process improvement initiatives within the HR department to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of employment & labor law.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on conflict resolution and employee relations.
Demonstrated ability in talent management, including recruiting, training & development, and performance management.
Strong organizational skills with experience in program management and strategic planning.
Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms; familiarity with ATS tools like Taleo or UltiPro is a plus.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with effective presentation abilities.
Experience in budgeting processes related to HR functions is preferred.
Ability to analyze data for decision-making purposes; strong data collection skills are essential.
