We are a 100% tuition-free statewide virtual public charter school serving students in grades 6–12 and adult learners who are under-credited, over-aged, or otherwise at-promise. Through personalized instruction, accelerated coursework, individualized graduation planning, and dedicated Success Coaches, we help students overcome barriers and build a path toward graduation and future success.
We are seeking an exceptional Lead Success Coach to help develop, launch, and lead our growing Student Success Coaching team. This individual will play a critical leadership role by coaching staff, developing systems, supporting students and families, and helping build a positive, mission-driven culture from the ground up.

Position Summary
The Lead Success Coach provides leadership, mentorship, and daily support to the Student Success Coach team while maintaining a student caseload. This position ensures students receive consistent, high-quality support and that coaches are equipped with the tools, guidance, and accountability needed to help students persist toward graduation.
The Lead Success Coach will develop materials to run the Success Coach program and pipeline. They will collaborate closely with school leadership, Student Success Teachers, Special Education staff, Enrollment, and community partners to promote student engagement, retention, and academic success.
Essential ResponsibilitiesLeadership
- Help to develop, train, and lead the Success Success Program.
- Help to engage with and develop community partnerships.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Student Success Coaches.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new coaches.
- Conduct regular coaching meetings and professional development.
- Monitor team performance through student engagement and persistence data.
- Promote consistency in coaching practices and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the coaching department.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and student-centered culture.
Student Success
- Work hand-in-hand with teachers assigned to the students of your roster.
- Maintain a roster of assigned students.
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families.
- Monitor attendance, engagement, course progress, and graduation plans.
- Identify barriers to success and coordinate appropriate interventions.
- Connect students with community resources and support services.
- Work collaboratively with Student Success Teachers to improve student outcomes.
- Assist with transition planning, postsecondary planning, and career exploration.
- Document student contacts and interventions accurately and consistently.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR a combination of 5 years relevant work experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in education, counseling, student services, social work, youth development, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of one year of leadership, supervisory, or team mentoring experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop others.
- Experience using data to improve student outcomes.
- Excellent technology skills and ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
- Must reside in Oklahoma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in alternative education, charter schools, or dropout recovery programs.
- Experience serving under-credited, over-aged, or other at-promise youth.
- Background in graduation planning, attendance interventions, or student retention.
- Knowledge of Oklahoma graduation requirements.
- Experience collaborating with community organizations and social service agencies.
