Summary/Objective

This is an entry to mid-level position dependent upon experience.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Work as a member of a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients.
Also responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations and working with staff and clients on these projects.
Involvement in the office will include reducing survey data, performing calculations, copying, and filing of this data.
Work may include preparation of survey drawings.
Receive high to medium level of supervision and direction is required
Ability to take direction and express understanding of the directions received.
Ability to report progress and maintain schedules.
Involved in outreach activities with community service organizations.

Work Environment

Mix of indoor and outdoor, majority outdoor

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Travel Required

The travel expectation for this role will be up to 60%.

Required Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalent minimum

Preferred Education and Experience

Preferences that are job-related and consistent with business necessity.

1+ year previous experience
Associate Degree or equivalent
