Licensed Life Insurance Agent - Inbound Calls

Preferred Life Group is hiring licensed life insurance agents for a full-time, in-office production role in Sanford / Greater Orlando.

This is a phone-based sales floor built around inbound policy-review calls, structured scripts, CRM discipline, daily coaching, call recordings, and performance feedback. The best fit is someone who wants a high-activity office environment, can follow a repeatable process, and is ready to write business through PLG if selected.

Job Type: Full-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM

Location: In-office - Sanford, FL 32771

About the Role

You will speak with consumers who are already interested in life insurance coverage. Many callers already have a policy and want to review, improve, replace, or compare coverage. Other callers recently requested quotes and want help choosing a policy.

This is not a cold-calling role. You will focus on inbound conversations, coverage review, carrier comparison, application support, CRM notes, follow-up, and personal production.

What You'll Do

- Handle inbound life insurance and policy-review calls

- Review current coverage, budget, goals, health profile, and eligibility

- Compare options across multiple A-rated life insurance carriers

- Explain coverage amounts, policy features, underwriting, and next steps clearly

- Guide clients through applications and follow-up

- Maintain accurate notes and activity in the CRM

- Follow PLG scripts, compliance standards, and documented sales processes

- Participate in call review, coaching, and performance feedback

- Work full-time in the Sanford office

Compensation

This is a 1099 commission-only role.

Projected compensation range: $105,000-$135,992.88 per year.

Actual earnings vary based on call volume, close rate, placement rate, product mix, underwriting outcomes, and personal production. Compensation is based on individual sales performance and is not guaranteed.

Who We're Looking For

Strong candidates typically have:

- Active Florida 2-14 Life Insurance License, or current eligibility to hold/maintain one

- Prior life insurance, final expense, inbound phone sales, paid lead, live transfer, policy-review, or agency sales experience

- Strong phone presence and clear communication skills

- Comfort with full-time in-office production in Sanford / Greater Orlando

- Ability to follow scripts, use a CRM, document calls, and take coaching

- Readiness to discuss current appointment/release/contracting status before writing business

- Reliability in a high-activity, performance-based sales environment
