We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage the accurate processing of vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Your expertise will help streamline the title transfer process, support dealership operations, and enhance customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced automotive environment while developing your skills in administrative management and customer service.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and process vehicle titles, registrations, and lien documentation efficiently and accurately.
Ensure all paperwork complies with local, state, and federal regulations governing vehicle titles and registrations.
Collaborate with sales teams, finance departments, and customers to facilitate smooth title transfers and ownership updates.
Maintain organized records of all title transactions in accordance with dealership policies.
Verify vehicle information against registration databases and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Assist customers with inquiries related to vehicle titles, registration status, and documentation requirements.
Coordinate with DMV offices and third-party agencies to expedite processing times and resolve issues swiftly.

Skills

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for managing multiple documents simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members, customers, and external agencies.
Proficiency in administrative tasks such as record keeping, data entry, and document verification.
Knowledge of automotive industry processes including dealership operations, inventory management, and title procedures.
Experience with retail sales environments, cashiering, or customer service roles is highly desirable.
Ability to navigate complex paperwork requirements while maintaining high accuracy standards.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
