Full Job Description

Four Seasons Eatery & Catering is seeking an experienced, professional Line Cook to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent knife skills, and a passion for producing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Basic knowledge of French cooking techniques is required, along with the ability to work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute menu items consistently and efficiently.

This position is ideal for a culinary professional looking to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced chefs.

Responsibilities

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and other prep work
Execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
Perform baking duties as assigned
Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team
Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
Properly store and rotate inventory
Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
Assist with end-of-shift cleanup and food storage
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and guests

Qualifications

Previous line cook experience in a professional kitchen required
Basic knowledge of French cooking techniques required
Knowledge of sauté, grill, and fry stations
Experience with meat and fish fabrication preferred
Excellent knife skills
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
Current Food Handler Certification required
Culinary school graduates and culinary internship experience welcomed
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
