Rapid Temps is seeking experienced Inpatient/Hospitalist Physicians to provide comprehensive inpatient medical services at Hopi Health Care Center (HHCC) in Polacca, Arizona. This rewarding opportunity allows physicians to serve a rural Tribal community while managing a diverse inpatient population in a collaborative healthcare environment.
The inpatient department operates 24/7, with opportunities for day, night, weekend, holiday, and extended coverage assignments.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and hospitalist physician services for adult and pediatric patients.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions throughout hospitalization.
- Coordinate admissions, daily patient management, consultations, transfers, and discharges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic health record.
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and compliance initiatives.
- Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care in a rural Tribal healthcare setting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted physician license in any U.S. state
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Previous inpatient or hospitalist experience as required by task order.
Assignment Details
- Location: Hopi Health Care Center (HHCC), Polacca, AZ
- Schedule: Variable shifts based on task order requirements
- Coverage: Inpatient services operating 24/7
