On-the-job training
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning, including suggesting new dishes and specials- Ensure all food preparation and handling procedures are followed in accordance with food safety regulations- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
-Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel Skills:

- Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry

-Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking methods- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special requests

=Summary As a Chef at Gabby's Grill, you will be integral to our kitchen team, responsible for food preparation and cooking high-quality meals that meet our culinary standards. Working with the Head Chef, you will utilize your core skills in food handling and culinary experience to ensure efficient meal preparation and presentation. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively will enhance our kitchen operations. With opportunities to apply your premium skills in menu planning and fine dining, you will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Experience

Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques across different cuisines.
Background in dietary department or dietary aide work is a plus, especially if you’ve contributed to meal planning for special diets.
Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, and meal assembly for diverse customer needs.
Ability to workefficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced kitchens. Join us as and bring your culinary talents to life providing a great experience for our guests!
