Full Job Description

Mid-American Research Chemical (MARC) is a growing family owned chemical company that has been in business for 56 years. We build relationships and train our sales team by hosting expense paid Summer and Winter Sales Meeting each year, along with an Annual Incentive Trip (past Incentive Trips include: Maui, Bermuda, Washington DC, Disney World, Ireland, Rhode Island and many more).

We manufacture and distribute over 500 different products to an expanding market area that includes cities, counties, schools, retail outlets, hospitals, nursing homes, commercial and industrial accounts.

We are currently seeking an OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE for our Southern Colorado territory. Counties include: Alamosa, Archuleta, Chaffee, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, Dolores, El Paso, Fremont, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Huerfano, La Plata, Lake, Las Animas, Mineral, Montezuma, Montrose, Otero, Ouray, Park, Pueblo, Rio Grande, Saguache, San Juan, San Miguel, and Teller. Direct sales experience preferred. We will give you the tools and extensive training to be successful.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Build a strong customer base using MARC's 4-Step proven sales strategy.
Identify and use multiple selling strategies to develop a customer base.
Deliver a sales presentation and express value propositions through product demonstrations.
Develop a customer base by focusing on building strong relationships.
