Full Job Description

Muse Concrete Contractors has an opening for a full-time Front Office Assistant/Accounts Payable Clerk. Applicants must be professional and able to handle multiple tasks in a busy office setting.

Pay: $20-$22/hour DOE

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

High School diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 3 years’ Accounts Payable experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience using office equipment and technology
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite
Basic understanding of accounting concepts
Ability to professionally answer and process phone calls
Must be organized, reliable, and efficient
Understand and work within confidentiality guidelines
Able to work under general supervision and independently
Must have good communication skills
Must be flexible and able to work a modified weekly schedule as needed
Must be able to lift 20 pounds, and sit for long periods of time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

Timely and accurately process payable invoices in accordance with company policies
Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding balances
General office administration and support for all departments
Answering telephone calls
Assist walk-in applicants, guests, and vendors
Open, stamp, and distribute internal and external mail promptly
Filing documents as needed
Maintain accurate, up-to-date vendor files and electronic records
Maintain accurate, up-to-date license files and electronic records
