Full Job Description

Overview:

Position: Certified Phlebotomy Tech

Location: Redding, CA

Department: Clinical Lab

Shifts Available: Days & Nights-Per Diem

Salary Range: $330.00– $440.00 per shift (base gross), based on a 40-hour (4x10-hour) schedule; equivalent to $30.00 – $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Performs venipuncture and skin puncture for specimen collection
Prepares and processes lab specimens
Completes basic clerical tasks and data entry
Applies lab test terminology knowledge
Demonstrates strong patient communication and service
Maintains supplies and cleanliness of lab areas
Operates lab equipment per procedures
Assists with general lab support and specimen handling

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
Current and valid state certification as a CPT I, required.
BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical laboratory experience, required.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $30.00 to $40.00. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
