Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Managed Services Engineer to join our innovative IT support team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our clients’ IT infrastructure, delivering proactive management, troubleshooting, and support across a variety of systems and networks. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations, optimal performance, and robust security for diverse client environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with passionate professionals dedicated to excellence in managed services.

Duties

Provide comprehensive technical support for client hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot software problems across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, utilizing tools like SCCM, ServiceNow, and Jira for issue tracking and resolution.
Manage computer systems through active monitoring of hardware components, operating systems, and applications to optimize performance.
Configure and maintain network infrastructure such as LANs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS settings, and TCP/IP configurations to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
Administer Active Directory, GPOs (Group Policy Objects), and Windows Server environments to support user management and security policies.
Support mobile devices and computer hardware by diagnosing issues related to peripherals, connectivity, or device malfunctions.
Assist in the deployment of software updates, patches, and security measures using tools like BMC Remedy and SCCM to maintain system integrity.

Experience

Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with a focus on desktop support and network administration.
Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN management, TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPN setup, firewall management (including Meraki), and TCP troubleshooting.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure management tools like Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM, ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy for ticketing and asset management.
Excellent analysis skills combined with outstanding communication abilities to clearly convey technical information to non-technical users.
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive customer service attitude in fast-paced environments.
