Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, and possess the ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to students of all ages. This role involves teaching dance classes, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and expression.

Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging dance classes for children and adults, ensuring a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among students.
Provide individualized tutoring and support to students as needed, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Collaborate with colleagues on special projects or events related to dance education.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity in dance.

Experience

Proven experience in teaching dance.
Experience working with children in educational settings; familiarity with early childhood education or preschool experience is a plus.
Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development principles is beneficial.
Additional skills in theater, music, or special education a plus.
A passion for dancing and the ability to inspire students through creative expression are crucial for success in this role. Join us in nurturing the next generation of dancers while sharing your love for movement and creativity!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
