Full Job Description

Construction Field Administrator

If you are a Construction Field Administrator with experience, please read on!

Full-Time/Permanent
50% time in Riverside office / 50% time spent on local travel(no longer than 2-hour drive)

- $110k - $130k base + bonus

401k Plan with Employer Match of 16% on the first 6%
3 weeks starting PTO
100% paid monthly Medical, Dental & Vision insurance premiums

You will attend construction meetings for assigned projects. Responsibilities include taking notes or meeting minutes when required, answering construction-related questions about the project and bid documents, and walking the jobsite to address questions or identify issues. Any unresolved questions should be brought back to the office for further review and follow-up.

Qualifications

5+ years in construction management, or equivalent experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent.
Blueprint reading
Client communication experience
Education project experience is a plus
Software: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), Lumos, Procore, Submittal Exchange,
Prolog, eBuilder, Fieldwire, Box, DocuSign

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the review of all incoming project submittals that require review by the
Architect. (This involves comparing the submittal(s) to the project drawings and specifications
and determining if the submittal matches what is on the approved bid documents.)
Responsible for assisting Consultants, Clients, Contractors, Construction Managers or
Program Managers with all questions regarding submittals, as required.
Responsible for the review and preliminary answer of incoming project RFI's that require response by the Architect. (This involves working with the Project Managers (as required), reviewing the bid documents, or other construction documents, in order to answer the RFI.
Responsible for drafting AFO's. This involves working closely with Direction of Construction
to determine what AFO's need to be issued. Working with the Project Manager's to obtain
sketches or attachments, as required.
Review of contractor cost proposals and change orders.
Review of contract schedule for compliance with contract requirements.
