Position Summary
Join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of professionals to make a real and lasting impact on our community.
The Community Partnerships Manager serves as a front-line fundraiser and ambassador for the Boys & Girls Club, building meaningful relationships throughout the community to expand workforce development partnerships, corporate sponsorships, and mid-level donor support. This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding business leaders, community partners, sponsors, and individual donors who share a commitment to empowering youth.
The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven professional who enjoys being out in the community, creating connections, and generating new revenue opportunities. They will work closely with employers, community organizations, and donors to strengthen support for Boys & Girls Club programs while advancing the organization's workforce readiness and youth development initiatives.

Specific duties include
Community Engagement & Partnership Development
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with employers, businesses, workforce development organizations, chambers of commerce, and community leaders.
- Identify and secure new workforce development partnerships that provide career exploration, internships, job shadowing, mentoring, and employment opportunities for Club youth.
- Represent the Boys & Girls Club at community meetings, networking events, business forums, and partner engagements.
- Serve as a visible ambassador for the organization throughout the community.
Corporate Sponsorship & Revenue Growth
- Develop and grow a portfolio of corporate sponsors and business partners.
- Create sponsorship opportunities that align with organizational priorities and community impact goals.
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners to secure annual and multi-year commitments.
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to develop customized partnership proposals and sponsorship packages.
Mid-Level Giving & Donor Engagement
- Manage a portfolio of mid-level individual and corporate donors and prospects.
- Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors through meaningful relationship-building activities.
- Develop strategies to increase donor retention, upgrades, and long-term engagement.
- Conduct regular donor meetings and outreach to deepen connections to the mission and impact of the Club.
Fundraising Strategy & Development
- Support annual fundraising goals through sponsorship revenue, donor engagement, and community partnerships.
- Track and report fundraising activity, donor engagement, and partnership outcomes.
- Maintain accurate donor and prospect records within Donor Perfect and the moves management system.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify new funding opportunities and support revenue forecasting.
Marketing & Community Awareness
- Work with the Resource Development team to ensure consistent messaging and communications for donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Promote the impact of Boys & Girls Club programs through community outreach, presentations, and storytelling.
- Support digital engagement efforts that enhance donor and partner relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, employers, donors, Board Members, volunteers, and community partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, cultivate relationships, and secure financial support through sponsorships, partnerships, or fundraising initiatives.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting established goals.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Commitment to advancing opportunities for youth and strengthening community partnerships.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, business development, sales, community engagement, workforce development, corporate relations, or nonprofit development.
- Experience managing donor, sponsor, or client relationships with demonstrated success in achieving revenue or partnership goals.
