Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Waitstaff/Server and become the heart of our guest experience! Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wine pairings, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Process cash and credit transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity
Maintain knowledge of beverage offerings including spirits, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options to assist guests effectively
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving processes
Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and resolving issues promptly
Assist in setting up dining areas for service, including table arrangements and cleanliness standards
Support kitchen staff when needed with basic food preparation or beverage garnishing during busy periods

Experience

Prior food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service under pressure
Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques is a plus
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty
Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
Culinary experience or kitchen background can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
