Training & Document Manager II

Thatcher Company is seeking a Training & Document Manager II to manage employee training programs, qualification records, and controlled documentation across the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are trained, procedures are current, and compliance requirements are met in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage training programs, qualification records, and compliance tracking through LMS platforms.
Develop and maintain training materials, curricula, and employee qualification programs.
Administer document control processes, including SOPs, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Maintain document accuracy, version control, and audit-ready records within document management systems.
Coordinate training updates related to process, procedure, and regulatory changes.
Support audits, inspections, and compliance initiatives.
Analyze training and document control metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Partner with Operations, EHS, Quality, Engineering, and HR to support workforce readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in training, document control, compliance, or quality systems.
8-10+ years of experience working in a regulated industry such as chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or similar environments.
Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and document management systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred

Experience with OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO, FDA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ, ISO, or training-related certifications.
