Full Job Description

Senior Business Analyst – Python | Banking | Remote (U.S.-based)

Vaco is partnering with a client seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong Python expertise and U.S. banking experience to support credit decisioning for credit cards and consumer lending.

This role bridges business and technical teams, translating requirements into Python-based decision logic within a Credit Karma environment. You’ll work in a fast-paced, ticket-driven production setting, partnering with stakeholders to enhance decision rules, improve processes, and support ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Implement and validate decision rules using Python
Support credit card and loan decisioning logic updates
Analyze process performance and develop ROI frameworks
Document current and future state processes

Qualifications:

Strong Python (pandas, NumPy, DataFrames)
U.S. banking knowledge (credit cards, credit reporting data)
Experience with SQL (preferred)
Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and automation workflows
Experience in Jira or ServiceNow environments (preferred)
Experian PowerCurve experience is a plus

Remote (U.S.-based). Collaborative, fast-moving team with structured onboarding.
