Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-volume environment with a focus on exceptional food quality and service. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, leadership qualities, and experience in managing kitchen operations. This position is integral to maintaining our standards of excellence in food preparation, presentation, and safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety and sanitation regulations.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste through proper stock management.
Collaborate with the head chef on menu planning, recipe development, and presentation standards.
Supervise shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow during service hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health codes.
Support catering events and banquet services as needed, ensuring timely and professional food delivery.
Enforce food safety protocols across all kitchen activities, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
Assist in managing dietary requirements and special requests to accommodate guests’ needs.

Requirements

Proven experience in high volume kitchens with strong culinary skills; catering experience is a plus.
Supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of food production, inventory management, and food safety standards.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with menu planning, food service management, and kitchen operations.
Strong understanding of the food industry trends, culinary techniques, and hospitality standards.
Previous restaurant management or shift management experience preferred but not required.
Culinary education or relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. This role offers an engaging work environment where culinary excellence is valued and professional growth is supported through ongoing training opportunities.
