At Summit Credit Union, we’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Business Services Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll cultivate strong business member relationships, provide trusted financial guidance, and deliver customized lending and treasury management solutions that help businesses achieve their goals. You'll serve as a strategic partner to business members while contributing to Summit’s continued growth and commitment to exceptional member service.
- Develop new business member relationships through organized prospecting and networking efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with small to medium-sized business members by understanding their unique financial needs.
- Deliver customized solutions including business loans, lines of credit, deposit products, and treasury management services.
- Provide outstanding, accurate, and timely service to business members while strengthening member satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements to assess creditworthiness and recommend lending solutions.
- Partner closely with Credit and Operations teams to ensure effective communication, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.
- Represent Summit Credit Union at community events, local organizations, and nonprofit activities to build brand awareness and business relationships.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive results related to loan growth, deposit growth, fee income, and portfolio quality.
- Stay informed of market trends, lending practices, regulatory requirements, and business banking solutions.
- Foster a service-to-sales culture that enhances both member experience and organizational profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three or more years of experience as a credit analyst, business lender, commercial lender, or related financial services role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of business lending, credit analysis, financial statement interpretation, and risk assessment.
- Thorough knowledge of loan policies, regulatory requirements, lending procedures, and related documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, organize work, and manage deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business software applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to travel to member locations and community events.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand and walk, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and/or carry up to 10 pounds.
Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.
