We are seeking a skilled Furniture Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in finishing and restoring furniture, ensuring high-quality results. Viking Log Furniture is a smaller family owned business, you'd be part of a closely knit team that makes and produces beautiful, original, really rustic log and barnwood furniture. This job has a ton of diversity, with different tasks to be done each day, along with custom orders. Our employees have fun at work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform furniture finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, and applying sealer and lacquer to rustic log and barnwood furniture pieces.
- Inspect finished furniture for quality and make necessary touch-ups or repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete finishing tasks
- Use sanding equipment and techniques to prepare furniture for finishing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Primary job will be furniture finishing with a back up roll in assembly
Qualifications:
- Experience as a finisher preferred but we will train the right candidate
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to furniture finishing
- Attention to detail and precision in finishing techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Any type of general woodworking skills

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
