Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Working Sitework Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading construction projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Working Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing the project site, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.
A construction foreman has a solid background in the field.
Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions.
You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.
Sitework, pipe work, concrete work experience a plus
GPS experience a plus
Willingness to work on projects throughout New York state

Responsibilities

Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in site work industries
Read plans/ GPS layout
Ability to operate heavy equipment
Project Management software a plus
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Aptitude in math
Problem-solving abilities
Good physical condition and stamina

Responsibilities:

Safely operate backhoe, dozer, dump truck, skid steer, tractor trailer, and excavators, etc.
Inspect equipment before and after use
Communicate well with other team members and supervisors
Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Previous experience in sitework
Strong work ethic
Ability to handle physical workload
Responsible and reliable with a good attitude
Pipe work a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Experience:

Sitework heavy equipment operating : 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

OSHA 30 (Preferred)
Are you willing to travel throughout New York State (Required)
Do you have your own transportation (Required)
Driver's License? (Required)
OSHA 10 (Preferred)
SWPPP (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
