Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Catering Manager to lead our catering operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of catering services, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding customer experience, and efficient team management. Your leadership will drive the success of our catering events, from small gatherings to large banquets, while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence. This position offers a dynamic environment where your culinary expertise and management skills will shine, fostering a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Duties

Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional presentation.
Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards aligned with client expectations.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Flexibility in schedule to attend functions outside normal hours.
Train and develop staff on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to enhance team performance.
Lead shift management by organizing staff schedules, supervising daily operations, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy periods.
Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all catering activities.
Collaborate with clients to customize menus, accommodate dietary restrictions, and deliver tailored catering solutions.
Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled and motivated team.
Monitor budgets for catering events, control costs effectively, and optimize resource utilization to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining environments.
Strong background in culinary arts with hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on staff training & development in hospitality or restaurant settings.
Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications relevant to the food industry.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Experience in event planning or banquet management is highly desirable.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering superior customer service.
