Full Job Description

A.T. Staffing in Tyler, TX is looking for the perfect candidate to join our Tyler office team! We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Recruitment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment and hiring process, with a heavy focus on sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding TOP talent. This is an exciting opportunity to directly contribute to the growth and success of our organization and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

Source and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
Manage the entire recruitment process, including writing job postings, screening, interviewing, and conducting assessments to evaluate candidate fit.
Perform background checks and drug testing. Ensure compliance with all recruitment policies, procedures, succession planning, and employee relations.
Answer phones and communicate professionally and courteously with all callers and clients, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
Accurately input payroll data for employees.
Attend community and chamber of commerce events with the goal of networking and expanding our local reach.
Provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the process.
Take "On-Call" responsibility on a rotation schedule with other team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, preferred but not required.
Experience with succession planning and employee relations is a major plus.
Must have at least intermediate Excel skills and advanced Outlook skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both candidates and hiring managers.
Must be highly dependable, punctual, and possess strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
