Polston Tax Resolution & Accounting is seeking a Tax Audit Enrolled Agent to become an integral part of our IRS Audit team! Moreover, remote workers may not telework for Polston entities from any location not listed as a location from which the Polston entities are currently hiring.
Requirements

Must be an Enrolled Agent, active status

Bachelors Degree required
-
Must have at least one year of experience representing clients in front of IRS and/or state government agencies

Must have at least three years relevant tax experience.

A positive attitude and customer service mindset with a strong work ethic.

Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with great follow up.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the skill to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.

Comfortable with a lot of client interaction

Access to the following equipment to perform the required work duties.

A computer, laptop, monitor(s), tablet and/or smart phone.

Internet - a minimum of 50 Mbps internet service with a recommended speed of 100 Mbps for optimal performance.

Satisfactory background and reference checks.
What Will You Do?
The Audit Enrolled Agent will be responsible for representing our clients in front of the IRS and/or state government agencies in examinations.

Research and develop strategies to defend client’s position while considering their specific goals.

Consistently communicate with clients via email/phone/video call/mail regarding their audit plan, case updates, and expectations.

Prioritize and manage caseload and assignments.

Respond in a timely manner to client inquiries and requests.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
