Specialized Experience Statement: Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the WG-08 level in the Federal service or private sector.
Experience in performing a full range of journeyman-level painting and finishing work on interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, floors, equipment, and structural components;
Experience in preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and applying primers and sealers to ensure proper adhesion and durability;
Experience operating and maintaining painting tools and equipment; AND
Experience following all applicable safety procedures, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials (e.g., led-based paint, solvents, and coatings).
