- Role: Manager, IT Applications – IFS ERP
- Location: Remote (Frequent Travel to Los Angeles Required)
Position Summary
Monarch is seeking a Manager, IT Applications – IFS ERP to lead the support, optimization, and strategic evolution of our IFS Cloud ERP platform. This highly visible role will serve as the primary technology leader for IFS, partnering closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and executive stakeholders to ensure the platform effectively supports business growth and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will oversee internal resources, offshore teams, and third-party partners while driving system enhancements, integrations, reporting capabilities, upgrades, and post-acquisition technology integrations. This role is critical to Monarch's continued growth and technology modernization initiatives. This position reports directly to the Director of IT. While remote, the role requires travel to Monarch's headquarters in Los Angeles several times per month, along with occasional visits to operating locations nationwide.
Key Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
Experience
- 7+ years of experience supporting and managing IFS Cloud ERP environments
- Proven experience leading at least one enterprise IFS Cloud implementation involving multiple business modules, including: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Employee Master, Field Operations / Work Orders, Quick Reports, and Lobbies
- Strong technical expertise in: IFS Cloud, IFS Aurena, Business Reporter, IFS Mobile Applications, PL/SQL, Data Migration, System Configuration and Customization, and Quick Reports
- Experience integrating or supporting: Power BI, Novacura, ArborNote, TrailD, ADP, Salesforce, TIBCO, and Boomi
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology transformation initiatives with measurable business outcomes
- Experience implementing or upgrading ERP, CRM, and financial systems
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, and emerging technologies that enhance ERP capabilities
- Experience in both consulting and corporate IT environments preferred
- Industry experience in landscape services, construction, field services, distribution, manufacturing, or multi-location organizations preferred
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and technology integrations
- Proven ability to engage with executive leadership, steering committees, and cross-functional stakeholders
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel approximately 30–40%
Primary Responsibilities
- Own the overall administration, support, enhancement, and integration strategy for the IFS ERP platform
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and HR teams to identify business requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Lead ERP-related projects, enhancements, testing efforts, releases, and system upgrades
- Manage internal resources, offshore support teams, consultants, and vendor relationships
- Ensure system stability, performance, security, and adherence to best practices
- Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and support initiatives
- Lead ERP onboarding and data integration activities for newly acquired companies
- Develop SOPs, governance processes, monitoring frameworks, and operational playbooks
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders on long-term application and process strategy
- Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to managed systems
- Participate in IT budgeting, resource planning, and governance activities
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous learning
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, communicate, and use computer systems for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer operation
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to maintain visual focus and operate in a standard office environment

Compensation
- Base Salary: $125,000 – $150,000
- Bonus Eligible
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and business considerations.
