Full Job Description

We are currently seeking to fill multiple part time expereinced ABA Therapists/RBT positions in the Wichita area. We have clients in need of services on the West Side of Wichita (Goddard/Maize), and Northeast Wichita/Park City/Newton. Unfamiliar with ABA, no worries! You'll receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid training with additional learning opportunities. We'd love for you to join our team of ABA professionals today.

Available Hours:

Monday through Friday 4p.m - 7p.m.with some flexibility. 10-15 hours per week.

Job Description:

ABA Therapists/RBTs will work to enhance the quality of life of children diagnosed with autism through teaching social, communication, self-care, and behavior regulation skills under the direct supervision of a Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCBA-D). The ABA Therapists/RBTs will provide direct 1:1 services to children ages 10 and under in the home and/or community settings which may include schools, and daycare/childcare centers.

This position is ideal for para educators and college students studying education, early childhood, psychology, and other related fields.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with children, parents/caregivers, and supervisors.
Build rapport and positive relationships with clients and their families.
Teach clients skills that promote growth and autonomy.
Follow behavior plans written by BCBA/BCBA-D
Implement intervention procedures to teach appropriate replacement behaviors, achieve desired outcomes, and reduce maladaptive/undesired behaviors.
Data collection
Complete progress notes
Attend monthly team meetings

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old and have completed a high school diploma/GED. (REQUIRED); candidates with postsecondary education including some college, associates degree, and/or bachelors are also encouraged to apply.
Certification as a RBT, or willingness to complete certification upon hire.
Must have reliable transportation.
Problem solving skills, ability to work independently, and have organization and time management skills.

Flexible schedules, up to 80 hours of paid training, financial assistance with RBT certification, and professional guidance for those seeking to obtain additional education and training in the field of ABA.

Those with an existing RBT certification can expect a salary commensurate with their experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
