Moon Air in Elkton, MD is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to manage accounting activities, process accounts receivable and accounts payable, and prepare finance reports. This bookkeeping position earns a competitive wage of $24 - $30/hr, depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BOOKKEEPER

As a Bookkeeper, you are essential to our company's day-to-day operations. As part of your various finance duties, you maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and provide daily reports. You efficiently post deposits and process the accounts payable and accounts receivable.

You are adept at compiling statements and processing documents needed to finance projects. Skillfully, you prepare accurate job costing and gross margin reports. Your records are always up to date, and you promptly collate and enter vendor expenses. Our clients appreciate your attention to detail as you professionally manage their financial applications and reconcile their accounts receivable.

Our employees are also grateful for your strong accounting skills, as you handle human resource duties such as processing timesheets and managing payroll. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BOOKKEEPER

2-3 years of bookkeeping experience
Experience with QuickBooks, (Desktop version) and Excel
Ability to perform advanced accounting tasks using Quickbooks Desktop
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
Experience with Paychex Flex is a plus!

This bookkeeping position typically works Monday - Friday, from 8 am - 5 pm.
