Full Job Description

CNC Router/Engraver Operator

Adcorp Signs, Inc. is a small, woman owned sign shop with an excellent reputation serving in the sign industry for over 37 years. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Router/Engraver Operator to join our growing sign manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC routers and engraving equipment to produce high-quality ADA signs. If you take pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, we'd love to hear from you. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also required.

Adcorp is looking for a hard-working and dedicated person who is interested in long-term, full-time employment. Applicants will be required to work in our shop from 8 AM to 4 PM. Other shift times may be acceptable, if approved by Adcorp’s Operation’s Supervisor. Working from home will not be permitted. Employees must be able to take instruction and complete tasks in a timely manner. New hires must be willing to learn new skills.

Smoking will not be permitted inside the shop. Adcorp is a home-based business located in White Hall, MD. Formal dress is not required. Jeans, T-Shirts and tennis shoes are permitted. Open-toed shoes cannot be worn inside the shop.

Starting salary will be $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on the applicant’s experience. After the training period there will be a 3-month review at which time your salary may be increased based on your progress and performance.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC routers and engraving machines.
Read and interpret production drawings and work orders.
Prepare materials for routing and engraving, including Rowmark, Gemini Duets, and other sign substrates.
Load programs and make machine adjustments as needed.
Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Maintain a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications:

Experience operating CNC routers and/or engraving equipment preferred.
Knowledge of sign manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to read shop drawings and measurements accurately.
Experience with CNC software and file preparation is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
