Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager at Huff Construction, you will:

Lead and manage the on-site construction team, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-performance standards.
Estimate and budget projects, demonstrating financial acumen and strategic planning.
Build meaningful relationships with potential customers and clients, representing the values of Huff Construction.
Create agendas and schedule meetings with owners and subcontractors to facilitate clear communication and project alignment.
Follow schedules diligently, ensuring projects are fully staffed and deadlines are met.
Ensure laborers are contributing effectively to each project, maintaining high productivity levels.
Uphold quality standards, overseeing the construction process to meet and exceed expectations.
Manage long lead-time materials efficiently, optimizing project timelines.
Ensure safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness on-site, prioritizing a safe and productive work environment.
Maintain proper records using tools such as PlanGrid, RFPs, and RFIs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Manage the inspection process to meet regulatory and quality standards.
Interact with owners respectfully and professionally, fostering positive relationships throughout the project.
Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Participate in the CM@R interview process to select and onboard qualified team members.
Look professional and dress in uniform, embodying the image and values of Huff Construction.
Create monthly pay applications for submission, managing financial aspects with precision.
Review and approve monthly project invoicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven working experience in construction management.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
Self-motivated
Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
A team player with leadership abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Knowledge of Sage Contractor and Estimate Standard Software is beneficial but no required.
